In the month of March, our preschoolers enjoyed their field trip to Safeway where they got to
see all the different sections of this grocery store. Some sections we know and others we came to know! They took us
to the back and showed us where they prepare their vegetables and where the bread is made. We got to
learn what the pharmacy is for and then we made our way to the deli where the kids were offered a snack. The
kids had a wonderful time and were amazed with all the new things they learned.
Will April “showers” bring May flowers? We certainly hope so.
For the month of April, the 3’s class will be exploring modes of Transportation and learning about numbers.
For the month of April, the 4’s class will be learning about community helpers such as fire
fighters, police offices, etc. SAFETY will also be covered in all aspects of our lives - from remembering

Themes for May will include a special person “MOM” and “Spring is in the Air” as well as Spring babies.
As for June, our focus will be on farm animals, Father’s Day and the 4’s class graduation ceremony.
